‘47 X Pratt Institute Branding & Logo Design

I developed a fresh and innovative logo that embodies the spirit of the collaboration between the '47 sportswear brand and Pratt Institute.

Timeline: January 2018

Overview

The '47 Redesign project is a collaborative initiative launched in Spring 2017 between the sports lifestyle and apparel brand '47 and Pratt Institute. The program aims to provide design students with the opportunity to reinterpret licensed sportswear, encouraging innovation and artistic exploration within a course titled Deconstruct/Reconstruct. Students create unique fashion looks using '47 deadstock materials, with top designs selected for further development into micro-collections.

The project culminates in a final runway show where students present their creations, showcasing the fusion of sports apparel and high fashion. A new logo, which I designed for the program, will serve as a visual representation of this collaboration, enhancing brand recognition and supporting marketing efforts for the initiative as it continues in the upcoming semester and beyond.
